Make Your Own Croutons

Delicious, easy alternative to store bought.

What You Need:
- Stale Bread (I used homemade bread, but any will work)
- Olive Oil
- Cooking Spray
- Ground Pepper
-Parsley
-Oregano
- Garlic Salt

Before Oven.
Cube your stale, leftover bread with a sharp knife.
I ended up with almost 6 cups total.
Place it all in a large bowl.
Toss bread with 3 tablespoons parsley, 2 table spoons oregano, and 2 teaspoons black pepper.
Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
Spread out bread in a single layer.
Drizzle olive oil on top of bread, about 2 tablespoons worth.
Place in 300 degree preheated oven for 15 minutes.
Shake pan and bake for another 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle garlic salt on hot croutons, about 2 teaspoons worth.
Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.
Toss with your favorite salad.
Delish!

After Oven.
