Make Your Own Granola

Easy, delicious, cheap, healthy.

  • 2 cups Old Fashioned Oats (not quick oats)
  • 1 cup Puffed Rice Cereal
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Honey

Preheat your oven to 300 degrees.
Measure out your oats and cereal and place them in a large bowl.
Add cinnamon and toss everything to coat it.
Add vanilla extract and 1/4 cup of honey to start.
Stir until everything is as coated as you can get it then add the other 1/2 cup of honey.
Stir well.
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper then spray paper with cooking spray.
Pour granola onto cookie sheet and spread it out into one single layer.
Put in oven.
Bake for 40 minutes at 300 degrees.
Stir after 15 minutes gently.
Allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
Homemade granola is great on top of yogurt, ice cream, or on its own as a snack.
