{About Me}

Hello fellow frugals!
I thought that I should let everyone know a little bit about me, and the type of lifestyle I live.
I'm 22 and live in Ontario, Canada.
I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my lovely long-term boyfriend and our 2 adorable dachshunds. We live on a monthly fixed income because J suffers from cystic fibrosis. I am unable to work a full time job because J requires at home care. We have been together for 8 years. Crazy I know. We met when we were 14 and have been inseperable ever since.
Our dogs act as our fur babies and are treated as such around here. Being on a strict fixed income has taught us how to budget, meal plan, and make the most of what we have. It has taught me personally to be more frugal and thrifty, (hence the title of this blog!).
Oscar is almost 3 and Molly just turned 2.
They are adorable and make our life nothing but better.

 This is Oscar. He is silly, protective, and very playful. He love his blanket patterned with monkeys and snuggling with daddy. He is definitely a daddy's boy. He is considered more J's dog because he raised him majority of his first year while I was away in university.
He is a great dog and I couldn't imagine him not being part of our little family.

This is Molly. She is such a goofball. She loves cuddling, giving kisses, and wagging her tail super fast. She is a miniature dachshund and we have smaller toys to fit her size, but that doesn't stop her from stealing toys from her brother! She is considered my dog because J bought her for me for my birthday 2 years ago. She is completely spoiled, but in a good way! She loves to give everyone lots of love, snuggles, and kisses. If you want to find her all you have to say is "Molly I'm lost!" and she will come running. If she doesn't come when you say it, then you will probably find her in the bathtub. We don't know why, but she loves to sit in it!

Our story is day by day and month by month, and I am hoping to share our tricks of making our money stretch and hopefully give you some ideas for your own family. Enjoy!

~ K
